i dont see over 300 without you blowing shit up with that "fuel system" you are currently working with, and if you do make over 300, cool, but dont expect it to last long until you seriously address your fuel issues

Once you put so much power down both wheels spin.. I've been in Jeff's car and I am sure it will be a lot faster than 14's. Roll racing is fine but when you can launch the car like yourself you are just bound to do well
Of course it will be hard to launch pretty good with his puck clutch (Trying not to spin the shit out the tires) it will be interesting when Jeff gets all the small issues solved.

I need to learn to launch the car. Soon enough it'll be the weekend car, and i'll weld the diff, and put better tires on it.
The car is back up and running, very strong I might add.
However on 20psi, I simply do not have the fuel to stop it from detonating. I proved that tonight on the bridges. 4500rpm, when the turbo begins flowing very well, the detonation starts. So Im going to tune it on lower boost this weekend, then goto Sam for the official numbers next week.

Nice to hear that the car is running good Jeff however I forgot the whole puc thing in my earlier post. That will make things most difficult to launch on street tires. I am curious to know if the J30 diff will work in your car. That would be a nice set up with drag radials. Does anyone know if the 280 and J30 diffs can be swapped?

I think the only diff that's swapable into my rear w/o major modification is the R200 from the Z31. It bolts up, and I use the Z31 axles.
I can always rip the rear subframe from a 240, and as Mattbrack suggested, make some custom brackets, and weld that beast in there.

The z31 will fit but you have to go through the hassle of making the fins fit. You can also get a 240sx lsd and swap the guts into the r200 280zx diff. I am pretty sure the J30 would work, it goes into the non lsd 300zx's fine. I will see when I get there, not worried about it right now.
heheh. yea i was being slightly sarcastic. slow times and high trap speeds are characteristic of supras... so jeffs car would be akin to a supra... shitty on the short end of the track but make it all up at the top end w/ the MPH.

jeff, whats your fuel system consist of now? have you got a fuel pump yet? i dont remmeber if you did or not. and your up to... 2 injectors? on the SDS?
you have side feeds right? are they low impedence or high? i only ask because you could probably use MKIV injectors, USDM are low impedence 550's and the JDM's are high impedence 450's.
i wonder if your detonation has anything to do with that sweet-ass single port face
and Anty, when you say the fins on the Z31 rear end wont clear, is it possible to grind them off to clear? cuz there is a Z31 turbo in cophers here in clearwater. im willing to bet the whole drive line is intact.
