You really won't miss the sound deadener, and it's heavy. You may be able to lighten your carpet, mine had 15 pounds of padding underneath that is now gone. That hatch weight sounds like it's totally useless. Fixed position racing seats are very light, the reclining seats usually aren't much lighter than stock. Look for brackets that look like they aren't really necessary, rip out all of the emissions stuff if you haven't already.

So its not really possible to lighten up your car if you want to keep all the stuff....

Well....I just added a JWT POP charger. Im really saving for the entire stage 3 kit...and profec B boost controller. Should I instead save for new seats, battery, rims, etc or shoot for the power?

Save up for power, you'll get more for your money doing that with the Z expecially since your not up to stage 3 yet. Also if your penny pinching the profec B is optional since most ECU's come with boost pills to up the boost.

What happens if I need to turn down the boost for any reason?

Default My advice

1.) Remove the hatch counter balance weight.
2.) Remove and replace the seats.
3.) Remove sound deadening material from the hatch and cockpit area.
4.) Do not put heavy wheels on the Z. Stay under 18lbs.
5.) Remove excess heat shielding on the exhaust.
6.) Remove and replave the under drive pulley with UR's lightened pulley.
7.) Remove and replace the flywheel with lightened flywheel.
8.) Remove the HICAS system.
9.) Replace the TTops with CParks CF replacements.
10.) Replace the stock suspension with some coil overs.

CParks CF tops? Sounds bad, is CParks abreviated or is that the name of the company?

You really need to get on TTNet.

CPark= Charles Park who owns PowerTrix. Go over to TTNet and do some searching.
