Default oil change

well as you all know, i just got my car. the problem is im not sure what type of oil to put in it, or what oil is in it now. So i was thinking on the lines of some 10w 30 mobil 1 syntetic, is that ok, or do ka's run better on conventional oil?

synthetic oiil rocks the mic for Nissans

i run Delvac 1, but you probably don't need that / want to pay that much for your oil.

The best oils are mobil 1 or redline. you can choose between them.. 15w50 performance driving formula is a good oil to run in your KA or SR if you are doing serious beatings to it ( like you should)

20w50 castrol GTX.........best (non-synthetic) oil ever. if your ka has more than 120k miles on it i would recomend the castrol. it helps keep the timing chain quite.

i used to like castrol 20w50.

but once i made the switch to synthetic, i realized i was missing out the whole time.

synthetic oils don't burn off as badly, they don't gunk up and stain and discolor the engine internals, they are way better when dealing with heat / cold / and all sorts of other great things.

a good website to check out is www.bobistheoilguy.com that is, if you're crazy .
