Any ecu chips or mods for redline
Ive been in several specs that are equiped with both products i mentioned. I thought it was going to be HORRIBLE, but actually it wasnt. The JIC was a great ride, so was the tien albeit a little bumpier, but the handeling characteristics of the cars were night and day compared to just springs. Not to mention you need a shorter strut for aftermarket springs or the struts will blow in a few months (<5) and there is only one company that makes struts for our car, which are the Koni Yellows, which includes full replacement in the rear, but only INSERTS for the front.

dont know how this thred got swiched to talking about sus, but I have the tein He's on my car and it rides fine. Granted I had the RSR race springs and AGX's on before that (1st one in the area, bought the same time as mattback) and even the difference between HE's and RSR race are night and day. Plus slamming the car is fun! hahaha, minus the massive amounts of negivite camber in the rear...
He said that he was going to put springs on his spec, which aparently isnt a very popular idea around here
Luckily for B15s we dont have to worry about extreme negative camber after lowering. Hell, kits aren't even made that i know of, just crash bolts, which are total crap.

Ive been riding on Stock stuts with Progress springs for over a year now and they havent blown(yet). When they do I will most likely be getting a pair of Tein SS's.
A set of Koni Yellows will run about $530 plus another $200 for the Eibachs makes for a very nice setup. Try to remember for that price you can get the Nismo($750) S-tune combo or a set of Tein Basics($770).
BTW: KYB now makes GR2 struts for the B15.

Nismo S-tune is non-adjustable and the easiest to install. It also will not void your warranty.
Koni Yellows with Eibach Pro kits make a nice auto-x alternative. Height is non-adjustable but damping is (soft, medium, and hard). Front inserts require that you cut the stock strut for installation.
Tein Basics are a true coilover and are height adjustable. There is no damping adjustment for the Basics.
For $1075, Tein Super Streets are height and damping adjustable giving you a truly versatile setup.
