Question SPL Parts Coilovers

I've been following an article on FA SPL Parts Review and was interested in this particular coilover system. I need to change out at least my factory suspension as I notice my car bouncing all over the place especially under hard acceleration. For the price it seems like a good deal and the ability to replace the shocks in state for the price is a plus as well.

I wanted to see if anyone had any opinions about this particular setup. I really dont need that much adjustment in my suspension as I am only using the car as a daily driver and occasional drag event. But I like the dampening factor and height adjustment. For the price would a simple AGK/Eibach setup get me going or spend the extra $400 for a full coilover set?

Default Great Place

Kuah has been doing some great things with SPL Parts for some time now. I would trust any of his products with out a doubt. He certainly has created some usefull items for the Z32 community.

I was glad to see SCC gave him acredidation 2 issues ago!

8/6 will be stiff for daily driving, it is much more sport tuned.

Tein basic coilovers are 7/6, those are great performance for the money and not too bad on the street, thats what im going for.

I only know S13 spring rates, but I think that the Flex is the only coilover available (from the factory) with 5/4 rates. Of course, you can always buy different springs for Tein coilovers for approximately $100 a pair.

To stay on topic, though, I haven't heard anything about SPL parts coilovers. Not to knock them, but there are plenty of Japanese coilovers that have been tested in the field for years.
