Haha....good to hear.....not that you "should" put it in the back. It's just ideal when looking for performance and getting as close to that 50/50 weight distribution everyone loves......besides....as you will see (or have seen) the bay looks so much better w/o a battery....be sure and post pics when done...

Ok all done, i did the short ram intake, made a brushed aluminum scoop under the intake to get colder air, and still block off tire/road debris, "tidy'd" up the mafs wires, and put the battery in the spare tire well. Theres only one thing i can't figure out what im gonna do yet with the brake vacuum hose...but here's the pix:

now i tired turning the beast over and it acted like my battery was almost dead...so i charged the battery till it was fully charged...still the same thing...so i grounded the engine, still nothing, so i put a second ground wire from the battery in the back...same thing...i used 10ga wire to route the positive cable from the firewall back...what is my problem?

There's your problem......not enough juice going thru that small wire to turn the starter over. I would use no less than 4 gauge for the power wire......some use 2 or even 0 gauge, but you're not cranking over a bug V8 so I think it's overkill......need to get larger wire man....

4 gauge will suffice...if the other is too hard to find....it's what I run...
