new guy here
hey all im new. for the longest time i have loved nissan. i really didnt know why. i didnt like the cars really, but i like their logo for soem strange reason. and when i first saw the skyline, (r32) i went crazy. skylines are so beautiful. i then started to research about nissans all the time. since we cant really have skylines over here comfortably, i was really depressed. until i saw the new 240's. now thats a car that will turn heads stock. i live the headlights, they make the car look so mean. and the ka24 has potential. so i am looking for a 97 to newer 240. i used to be a honda guy just because thats all thats around here in b-ton, but i learned. we all go through our rice phase dont we? (i was never rice. but owning a honda kind of is.) anyways, how many of you guys are around the bradenton area? i havent really seen any 240s except a 89 hatch and a 95 style white 240. (both slightly modded) i know i want a 240 and am serious about it because i kind of left all my car friends behind and am getting a nissan. they are not played out yet, and its even hard for me to spot a 97 240 around here. so, just introducing myself. gonna stick around and see what i can learn from you guys...

Welocome to Nissans. Sounds like you're looking for a 97-98 240sx, which are also referred to as S14a or kouki S14. These cars are very hard to find, especially if you're picky about trim level, options, and color. I want to say that they only made 1200 each year in 97 and 98. 98 was, of course, the last year of production for the 240sx. Hang out in here and read up. Then go to Fresh Alloy and read up. You'll be an expert in no time.
Eh, im around borington, but im going to leave for FSU soon so it wont be much longer. I have a blue S13 W/SR around here I dunno if you have seen it. My dad also just picked up a rare 98 S14 Kouki 5 speed for dirt cheap. Don't expect to find many 5 speed S14 Kouki's around. There arent that many. My dad is in the process of swaping in his Sr20 right now 2. so when I come back in august there will be 2 240's w/SR's aronud here. Im almost certin no one else in this old boring ass town has any.
welcome. prices for a Kouki are going to vary. expect to pay around 6-10K for a kouki if you find one. 6K for well over 100K miles, SR candidates. 10K for babied, low milage w/ higher trim levels/light mods.
