Another D*mn 240 problem
went and checked the coolant levels and they are fine so im pretty damn sure i didnt blow anything. just no air flow through the radiator. i just wont let the car idle in the day heat w/out the fan on for more than 5 seconds now.

why arent your fans coming on with your ignition?
your brake light is staying on because there is a rubber grommet/pad on the brake pedal assembly that when the pedal is in the 'not touched' mode it turns off the light. that little rubber piece has fallen out. you need to replace it.

garage b. i didnt do the wiring for the fan. so its just hook up to a switch.
but i think your diagnosis for the problem is correct cause yesterday i noticed a random small black plastic piece that looked to be broken laying on the carpet by the pedals.

buck that is what the problem is.
and i dont care who did the fan wiring, fix the fan wiring. its not that hard to find a positive signal to trigger a relay. do eet.
