is rerouting the intake to the passenger side going to make any noticeable difference. i'd figure since it won't be laying on the radiator it will stay a little cooler. has anyone around here done this before? i know taylor did but i hadn't herd of any one else

 

noticable? highly ulikely, but get a temp gauge and see if it does cool it down.

 

I've seen it on a few 240s on a different board. I don't really think there would be more than a 1hp difference. Once you get rid of the small, bumpy-flex intake for a 3" intake, that's about all the power you'll get. Just making it shorter cleans up the engine bay imo, but don't expect to feel a difference.

I swear i heard taylor say when he did that he felt it really helped from 5500rpm up.But i cant remember why it helped.

 

you damned right it helped! it fixed all the normal "KA doesnt want ot make power over 5500rpm" problems.

yes.if you search the nissan forum there are pics of taylors clean ass engine bay and you can see the setup there.But those were from the old rhd hatch with the KA
