SR20DET daily driven?
My brother and I keep a close eye on the coolant temps. Sitting in midday heat with the AC on and bumper to bumper traffic in Atlanta, it's like a rock. It's only under 40-110mph runs will the temp creep 1 notch.
He is looking at getting a radiator, just to be safe(r). Koyo aluminum if he has scratch. Koyo copper otherwise.

If you are swapping it for the specific purpose of being a daily driver, do yourself a huge favor and keep the turbo on the smallish side. It will make for a far more fun car with torque than a top end monstor that pulls like a yugo down low.
Any car can be reliable if attention to detail is paid on the swap. Locktite all the bolts, make sure the wiring is in good shape (soldered connections), and as has been mentioned, a good radiator and fan. As has been mentioned, you aren't reinventing the wheel, just putting a stock motor from another country into your car.

Can one expect a reliable 400whp sr with the stock turbo? Or get the 400whp mark without dumping a lot of money in uprades? What would be a ball park cost of Bluebird/s13,s14 clip and upgrades for 400whp?
