im lookin to purchase a 1990 240sx from an aquaintance...

i dont know to much about the engines, and he said it needs a new gasket or two, didnt specify which ones...
i was wondering if anyone would like to help me check this baby out before i buy it, im pretty sure its located in st pete or around there... ill post more later

 

most likely it will need valve cover gasket.not a hard job.not sure what the other will be.

 

probably a valve cover gasket like evlonedb said but it could also be head gasket.....or maybe a header gasket

well i went and looked at it... its a white 90 se, needs a valve cover gasket, cuz the guy forgot to put one on, and it needs an exaust mamafold gasket for the same reason... hatch has rusted holes in it, but they are puttin a new one on it for me. has a cheep apc dual muffler which is gettin ripped off immeditly. one rim is bent, but im gettin a nice gun metal set for a dollar gettin this beast for 900 or so

the rim deal fell thru, unless i wanna pay 150 shipping... maybe ill do that, twice cam for 300 ... i was thinkin more SR and spend some time building this beast up nice... my license is suspended for a year for grand theft auto... long story... so i have a year to build it up nice and pretty
