Manifold/turbo v. me.
Car parts: 1
Me: 0
Still struggling with the old turbo/manifold. It seems that the steering shaft that was ever so willing to pop off before will not do so now when I need it to. I can't get to any of the bolts for the exhaust elbow so I dont have any choice but to remove it as a unit.
Right now it is soaking in WD40 until Sunday when I get a chance to wrench on it yet again.
Any hints (besides a plazma cutter)? I already miss driving that damn car.

Alright, today slots me yet another loss. I can't get the steering rack to clear the greddy seperate wastegate dumptube elbow even after beating it with a hammer (and throwing it across the street in disgust). But everything is in place and looks great. I do a test fire and it runs awesome except for one issue: one of the lines that feeds the turbo oil coming from the block has malfunctioned pulling an Exxon Valdez on my driveway.
I am at wits end. If anyone wants this car and has a clean stock HICAS +2500 bucks, it is yours. Those who have seen my car know how clean it is, especially under the hood. I'm done messing with it already and just need transportation to work.
