legacy of fragile Nissan bolts
Alright, just how crutial is the bolt that holds down the coil pack on a SR? Earlier, mine decided it had enough and after a few turns, it snapped. I would have expected it if I had over torqued it, but it wasn't even snug yet. Temporarily, I have the coil pack snugged down with a piece of my brother's old altrinator belt and some foam just to insure it doesn't go anywhere. However, I am paranoid about the coil overheating with this temporary configuration.
Suggestions? Comments? Insight? Insults? Any are welcome.

anti-sieze owns ju
and on a technical note....the belt shouldnt be a problem, but i would wrap that foam in a couple layers of foil if your concerned about it melting

Hell... I had the bolt/stud on a 1991 Honda Accord shear right off the other day. I was barely tighening down the valve cover nut after changing the gasket. Had to pay $10 dollars at the dealership for the damn bolt!
