hood proped
i popped my hood up in the back, with washers and long bolts, and it feels like a slight gain in power.. could be me.. but if u want to try go ahead, but for sure u can feel the heat coming out of the engine bay.. oh, u gotta take out the little rubber lining on ur firewall too. cowl style nigga.
so i was picking my car up from the paint shop..and the guy looks at me and said...if you want, we can fix your hood for you cause we can see its PROPPED up in the back....
i said well im glad you asked me first.,... i did that on purpose

I just left off my rubber gasket and it seems to vent just fine. Personally, I don't dig the cowl style with the washer spacers on the hood...and that is coming from a former Mustang guy who likes cowl hoods. It just looks funny to me seeing the hood all jacked up with washers. I could understand if it was a pure race car running open track events, but in reality it is just a street car running a n/a truck motor.
With just the rubber gasket gone alone, the engine heat will defrost my windshield on cold days. More so on the driver's side, but you know how it is.

hmmmm, thats not a bad idea
