This is weird!

Did your car make any other runs where the slip was similar?

0.249 was mine.

This is the strangest thing I have ever seen! Two cars running the exact same numbers down to the ten thousandth on every line of the slip!?!?!?!?!?

Next time, read the other posts from him.

Good runs SKYLINE. 12.4 is pretty good considering the amount of boost you're running. Next time, try launching at 5-6 thousand rpms and slowly let of the clutch. Don't SIDE STEP the clutch like seem people do, it won't work nearly as well and that could be the reason you're getting eratic wheelspin off the launch.

That is really strange. Can you both post pics of the slips? It would be an unusual coincidence, at the least.

Actually you cant slip the clutch in a skyline.....I already learned that $1500 lesson. It fries the clutch badly. I have talked to many skyline experts on this. The way to launch one from what I have been told and what i have personally learned is to drop it about about 6600 with the gas floored. However it is very hard to time that correctly to be flooring it and drop it at that rpm right as the light turns. On top of that, sometimes it get too much grip anyways and njust sticks. Nobody understands just how much grip this car has coupled with a severe lack of low end power. I am just going to have to get more power and more practice on my timming.

I have never had problems launching any other car. I was quite good in my mr2 getting 1.7-1.8 60 foots on street tires. I have launched other AWD cars with no problems as well. This one is just plain hard. I have mastered it on the street, but there more grip on the track

I dont have a a scanner so I cant post a pic. But, the numbers on mine are verbatim what Chin180SX posted.

I am pretty sure I know what happened.

My car was number 3. Before I made one of the runs, the bottom part of my window number got smudged when I rolled the window down by accident (hit the wrong power window buton ) and the track thought I was number 7 and not 3 when I staged. So, when I got to the tower, my slip was printed as number 7 and not 3. Since I ran the same numbers a few times in a row, I am quite sure that the numbers on the slip were correct for my car.

Somehow, the "real " number 7 car also got a copy of this same slip but I am not sure how!

The possibiliy of two cars running the exact same numbers on every line of the slip down to the ten thousandth of a second would be exceedingly remote.
