I am now in a position of financial stability.Due mostly in part to busting my ass at 2 jobs.But to make this short my question is how did you guys pay for your SR20's.Are there big ballers here that just went and dropped 4000 cash and said swap my shit, or do some people have some nasty credit card debt.Just wondering cause i feel i can now afford my SR but dont want to wait and save up the money(i have waited long enough).Thanks in advance.

 

i never really reccomend building a car on credit, but soemtimes it's necessary. you best bet would be to wait patiently and save. save up some extra too for those unexpected expenses!! if you are going to do it on credit try to save up at least half of it first...so you arent so far in the hole when you are done. remember you dont want to stretch yourself so far to get it built that you can't take care of it if there is a problem.

 

saved and saved and saved and i took some from my savings that my mommy kept for me as i was a child... and i also did small jobs on the side for other cars etc etc so it all added up... hehe and i only worked at a carwash for a short period of time... i find my way to earn $$ though...

I saved money for the front clip and transportation of the front clip. I put parts that I needed on credit. I wouldn't recommend doing it ALL on credit.

 

Thanks a lot guys i will more than likely sell my car and get either a swapped 240 or a 300Z tt.So if you guys have any of these for sale let me know.

By the way Jonas one of my jobs is Busting ass at a car wash i get like 50 or 60 hours a week there.I also work at a Thai restaurant and attend school full time.
