Not too sure what the problem is but I was driving down the Vet. tonight and opened her up, as I was getting off the exit the engine stalled. Started it back up after a few atempts and a somewhat loud knock is coming from the engine. The engine has absolutly no power and keeps stalling. So what do you guys think... worth fixing or time for a swap. By the way I have a '97 kouki with 120,000 miles.

 

eff that swap it..120k that baby has been around the block ..

Threw a Rod? Go for the Swap if you can.... Did you have any smoke?

yeah, why did it die? how much oil was in that thing?

 

yeaseems very oncommon for it just to blow with out any leading problems...like all the others , waz there oil in it?

 

I didn't want to mention that part but the oil was low

 

yeah the day before i noticed my front and rear main seals were leaking, i changed the oil and barely anything came out (2 quarts or so).... quite a change from being topped off 2-3 days before that....

 

with the motor gone ill give you 20 for your intake manifold
