Blew The KA tonight?
Im betting that your headgasket blew (Ka's love to pull that one on ya--done it to me twice), and the lack of compresseion leads to the lack of power.
Does it fire really spiratically?
im betting the knock is your rockers hitting the valve cover (if it sounds like its comming from up top)/rod hitting the block (if its tapping from the lower end)

Uuuhh... Twin cam KA's don't have rockers. They have shim-over-bucket lifters riding on the tip of the valve stem, and the cam rides directly on the shim. Single cam KA's had rockers, but that would have ended back in like '90, I'm pretty sure (For the 240). And what would be the likelyhood of a bent rod on a twin cam KA, unless you were boosting? Those rods are pretty stout! Hopefully it is just something simple. My '91 was stalling and bogging for a day. Took less than $30 to fix, and now she runs like a scalded dog.
