Well stock for stock the Z32 was ment to be superior to the Silvia series.... They get all the nice parts stock on the Z32.. Like larger and better MAS sensors, all the alumnium suspension components... blah blah...

Its just more the fact that the Z32 was more of a flagship car than the silvia was. Really the silvia was kinda a budget mans sportscar..
Its nice that all the stuff transferrs over, and I doubt that nissan knew exactly the monster they created when they put the S13 into production..

I know if someone said VQ everyone would laugh, but i'm saying you should look into the VQ series engines. If you want to know more on them pm me. A healthy amount of research would show this engine is no slacker and the egines are dime a dozen.

Yes tampamax on the VQ note vq is a massive powerhouse from what i understand it is 3.5 liters with i believe 300hp( i think that that is to the crank) the same amount if hp that the tt 300z put out and to top it all off it is a NA engine .. not sure on how much the greddy twinturbo kit or the stillen supercharger puts out to the crank or to the ground...

well back to the SR/z32.....well i am also looking at the amount of money that i am going to spend... you pick up a nice s13(the lightest and i believe the "smallest" of the s-chassis' ) for about $2000-2500 and this would be in very good condition with not a lot of miles on the whole car or i can spend about $1000-1500 and get one with alot of miles(looking at the local dealerships and on autotrader.com/mag).....plus the amount to provide the SR20 swap and you add about $4000-5000 to the total amount of the car( prices on swap i am maxing it out just to be on the safe side..you are looking at the abotu 6-7 grand plus tax/tag/title also the addittion of charges on my insurance..(i know some of you might say that dont drive it on the street just use it for the track.....\it is just the amount money is avail but i would like to spend it on 1 car and upgrade it and do other kind of things..

and for the amount of money that I spend on a S13 with a bone stock SR20 i can have the Z with like 300rwhp....this is what is really keeping me going...and its diffrent it not something that you see everyday... and if it is car is done right it just might end up in a magizine or two... you never know......i really appreciate the info and feedback. thanx everybody when i get it completed i will let you know what and where you can see a few pics

there really is no "cheap" way to get power. Like the saying goes "Money equals power"... no matter which route you choose, i think you'll be plenty happy. every nissan i've owned has made me proud (i've owned 5). if you want something that not a lot of people have--next months edition of Modified Magazine has a 10 second 1995 RX-7 powered by an SR20

Yeah, back then, I don't think he knew to much about SRs, but since the addition of martin, we have gotten very big into SRs. Better late then never. The second SR Z32 should be done very soon and this ones gonna fly with 400-450whp.
