This is project number 3 at Z-Fever done by Martin and Doug. This is the motor mounted (although the mounts are off in some of these pics) This is exactly how it sits. This is using a very slighty modified Z32 crossmember and a custom transmission mount.. but everything rides on factory 300ZX engine / tranny mounts. Motor will have GT25R, 720's, step 2 264's, Greddy Intake, Enjuku metal gasket, the blingy Topspeed manifold.. and of course a Secret Services Rom Tune on a Z32 mafs. Car should be nice with all the weight its losing. Enjoy

You guys are SR20 craized over there!

 

About 2 years ago, I caught wind of some SR swapped z32's in Japan, and seriously contemplated doing the project to my Z. I did quite abit of research on the issue, and ultimately discearned it was beyond my finances and time to undergo the swap. So instead I bought another 240SX to daily drive while I tweak the Z32....

I would love to see this project come to total reality. According tow hat I figured out a few years back Defiantely keep us updated, and when its done I would love to doa feature on the car! If y'all are interested email me Editor@DownShiftOnline.com

Im always wanting to learn more in the nissan camp, so these ?'s might sound dumb... Here it goes. Why would you put a sr20det in the z32? i mean wouldnt the vg30dett make more power... or is this concept the same as top secret over in japan uses the 3sgte in some of there supras and altezzas? Is it cause its lighter wieght, and the ability to produce good power? just so that i would know what the benies would be by doing this kind of conversion. Good luck!!
