well not speaking for anyone here, but i beleive the reason they are doing this swap is the obvious potential of the sr...and a swap that is a liiiiitle different.. heh idk just my thoughts

Hey guys.. thanks for the responses. Well I do swaps here into different things than just 240sx's for several reasons. First off the SR is a great platform with potential and is very reliable. Secondly it's different... we have done that 71 240Z, the 89 300ZX and now the 93... How often do you see that ? The VG TT motor is decent and with the properly matched turbos and intercoolers, fuel can make tons of power... but it is on the heavy side. The SR sits pushed back so far in this engine bay it almost makes it a mid engine car Suspension work will have to be done, but it should make for a good handling, crisp feeling 300ZX. We are not going for a monster setup.. just a real strong 375-400 rwhp motor. It is different... I have never seen a swap here in the states like this ..which brings me to my last point. Our shop gets our 15 seconds of fame and of course the $$ from the customer

It just seems like the Z32 would be too heavy, doesn't seem like enough torque. I guess i'm just used to Hondas.
