you dont have to remove the radiator, but you should, if you hit it with the motor on the way out its fucked. its not hard, have fun.

 

ok i've done a lot of what needs to be done...but all those crazy ass little hoses on the back of the intake side on the new motor are just cut!...and im so damn confused...my chiltons doesn't have a pic of MY motor...its got the vg30 ca18 ca20 and shit...but no KA!!!
would my Fuel pressure regulator go between the f.pump and the f.rail? or f.pump and f. filter? or what?

 

Agreed. This might seem blatantly obvious as well, but go ahead and replace everything on the new motor you can while its out. It never gets that easy again.
