Default help buck19's 91 coupe is over heating

to not confuse anyone this is buck typing.

just got the 240 today. threw on some tokico blues and eibach spings(think thats what the springs are) gets sideways like its on ice and its an auto.

well after having some fun i went to the BBQ i DM in tampa and when i got there it was over heating. spent 20 min filling it up with water using two dixie cups at taco bell. drove for 4 more minutes and it over heated again. filled it up again. then on my way home it over heated while i was on the highway.

i hope its not the water pump. anyone have any similar problems. the mechanical fan still turns.
next weekend or before then i would like to have it fixed.

PLEASE HELP. i want to get drive normal and/or get sideways with out over heating easy .

yes it goes into the overflow cause the water was boiling in it. i did loose a lot of water, but i parked it with it running for a minute while it was over heating and looked under the car and didnt see anything dripping.

i dont think its the head gasket cause i have an exhaust leak at the first muffler under me and i dont smell any coolant. i just got a headache and got dizzy from the smell and my clothes smell like exhaust...
the oil seemed a little runny but wasnt frothy. i checked it after about 10 min of driving but it didnt over heat then.
i dont hear anything abnormal from the engine bay at idle. cant tell when driving cause all i hear is the exhaust under me.

my first guess was the thermostat. plus its the cheapest to fix. im just going to replace that and the hoses and hopefully thatll fix it.

any more opinions, please...?
