Default Turbo Spec

I know we got a Spec thats gonna be boostin down here, but I thought you guys might like to see these numbers on another turbo spec so we know what to expect.

Says hes runnin 8.5 psi, stock internals. No word on track times, but they say mid to low 13's on street tires. Guess the skittles have somethin to worry about...

Yah the 219 was @6psi with no tuning !!!!
travis said if you shift to fast in any gear it smokes the tires !
IMO I don't see 13's comeing out just cause the torque!!!!
250 torque in a 2700 pound fwd is crazy and stock the car
has traction trobles in 1st and little in 2nd ....

Oh yah its all done with stock ecu. no chip .no nothing :o

True the car has traction troubles, but thats also with those shitty Continentals on it. I would think that a better set of tires would help get some grip. With the right amount of practice 13s should be attainable.

Damn, his torque is rediculously high! I drove my friends spec (stock) and the traction goes out on you pretty damn easy, if he had some better tires (wider, better tread) i bet that turbo spec could hit mid 13's

Yeah the aftermarket for the new SE-Rs has been getting started a little slow. But I think that its gonna grow pretty big just cause this engine is great. I think it says a lot when you only run 8.5psi through it and it lays down the same numbers as a new Sti that runs what, 16psi (??) on 2.5 liters as well. This Nissan must be capable of some crazy power.

yeah but the sti motor is built with boost in mind with low compression and forged bottom end.
