well each has a different turbo so it's not really a fair comparison. change the turbo on a s13 to a t28 ball bearing and you're probably pushing the same as the s15 sr20. and you can't compare the qr to the sr cuz of the n/a vs. fi build for the two. the sr can handle up to 600hp on stock internals, i blew my motor w/ an intake. two completely different motors, each with their own pros and cons.

Secert services has the highest whp sr @530something ??
3 The QR has a lot of problems with the brake in period .
did you run it out of oil ??

2. secret services has the highest at 530, wow. i guess all the 700 and 800hp silvias in cali don't count then. not to mention the stock internal ones with 600hp, i've owned an sr swapped s14, i know what the motor is capable of with proper tuning.
3. no i didn't run it out of oil. first my head gasket blew, no biggie, then the whole motor just crashed, i'd have to look at the service order to tell you the details. but now i've got an 03 motor with the different internals so everything is gravy.
but this isn't the topic anywayz so i'll leave it at that.

a friend of mine in cali with the crew tekna is running an HKS T-51R turbo with only electronics, cams, gforce computer to raise the rev limiter, fuel system, and a heavy duty clutch os giken clutch. 654rwhp. it is built for top speed and would get raped in a 1/4 mi. he will be uprading his internals once he gets done with some negotiating, getting some tomei stuff i know but not sure on what else. is it intelligent to be pumping out that much on the stock internals, no, especially if you're running an old red top, but it is possible and is done. don't take what you see around here in florida as an example of the way things are. this motor was built by pro who do work with signal and enonvativ force, so just take my word on this and leave it be.
