Before and After...a Refresh and Update Project on a '93 s13 Hatch
I see what youre saying...where the GTR has the edges to break up light, creating shadows as it hits its body, a 240sx needs the rounded contours to reveal the shades within the color.
I was thinking of dropping a black pin stripe around the car to break it up some. Right in the top body line. Nice find on the pix Empire. That grey is still growing on me though...

SEAN,
By stock do you mean stock as far as power and appearance? I know, youre right. Too long over due for a power upgrade. NA nothing more than and CAI and a 4-2-1 Header for a reliability win...but not too many racing wins...lol.
Your new ride is minty fresh. I hope to see your progress too.

Thanks for your comments on the new ride! i've already had it apart a few times lol... car caught on fire within 4 hours of ownership and i managed to pull it over at a park where some basketball players with bottles of water saved the day... luckily not too much was damaged! i had to replace the BMC Reservoir, PS high pressure line, air filter and valve cover breather filter... oh also the main relay box that sits in the driverside front that was destroyed as well but luckily no wire harnesses were damaged so i just went to the junkyard an found a nice new box with relays an all to put in there. now i just have to get the hood painted an she will be good as new.... I'd like to add an oil catch can as well cuz i have a feeling it was something to do with the crank case breather system on the car that caught it on fire...
Aside from that, i have replaced the dash with a new one that came with the car as well. I do have pics of all that build being done, guess i could start the thread with that.

Sean...Ouch! Sounds like you're on the right track with what may have caused the fire...too much oil on the exhaust side of things is never good.
I've just picked up a "new to me" PS pump to replace my tired old one this weekend. Should fix the --creak-- sound that comes from the front when ever I turn the wheel. The failing pump could have killed my 180sx rack's seals. I'm searching for a place that could rebuild it now.

if you look carefully in my sig pic u can see on the hood on the drivers side where the fire melted the paint off lol.. ive picked it smooth so that it's not too obnoxious and water doesnt get trapped under it.

smart move SEAN. Now get a coat of paint on that soon. Dont just primer it. So many people forget that primer alone doesnt seal, it needs paint over the top of it to do so.
Speaking of paint...I cant do the grey I wanted now...because your ride is grey. LOL!
