glad you had an awesome trip.

sucks about that scuff. doesn't look like it dented at all, so hopefully it'll buff out.

that flange makes me excited. can't wait to see this thing get pieced together.

Awesome build man! I love seeing cars done correctly. Keep it up man. And I was so excited when you told me you were doing a supercharged ka. Mine was so ghetto and terrible, but I loved everything about it haha.

Good Luck

Cool to hear from you sir. The time its taking to do it right is killing me. But anything worth doing is worth doing right. The plate for the SC is taking a while to get completed, but the guy thats doing it is doing it for the low...so i cant complain. Trying to sourse out the tubing for the intake is another thing, but when all is said and done it should be one super ride.

I'm in the process of moving to a new place so that is taking some time and $$. Also searching for a decent 4dr daily...i need the room. I guess life happens when your tring to do the things you want to, right??

I heard that. I've not even bothered starting a build thread yet for either of my projects. progress is too slow. But hopefully this summer proves to be good as far as that goes.

What kinda car you looking for? price range?
I was surprised at how nice of a BMW you could get for under 10grand. Hell, even under 8K and you could get a nice early 2000's beamer.

Royce- I Was talking to Phil on facebook earlier and have considered this for 2 months now. In the next few months I will be buying my buddy's KA when he swaps. I have decided to follow your build and do the same, mainly because no one has a KA-R! I was discussing with Phil and I didn't even read your thread and here is what I said
  • "Yeah I would only want supercharged if I could rig an intercooler into the setup so its actually pushing in cold air
  • from what I've heard superchargers are just a glorified intake and push not so cool air into the intake"

He told me to check out your thread and I'll be damned if you answered the problem! Will be in contact soon about more info

    UPDATE MORE FREQUENT!!!!!!!!

I just posted in the Tech section about an AC problem I'm having. I'm stuck right now on where to go next. Funds are holding me back. Ask away with any questions you might have. I have you as a FB friend so dont hesitate to hit me up there as well. www.Ka-t.org is your friend...check out their supercharged KA forum section. Also, google Grantspec Supercharged 240sx, that guys car is very impressive.

I've searched a ton on the Lotus Elise/Exige too...both are supercharged inline 4's that are intercooled...I have a few pix of them in this thread too. please check out pg 7...there are pix of the intercooling set up i'm going to mirror. That design is from and aftermarket supplier for the Lotus.

When I make progress I will be sure to post pix. Sorry I cant get you anything new right now.

Frustrated,
-Royce
