Does anybody now of someone that has bolt on finderflares? would like to just use one to see if we want to put a set on it or not, would like to put some wheels on it that have some lip on them, please don't say roll the fenders because that is an option also . We are looking for a all together different look. Also thinking about using the long caddy tail lights eather in place of stock tails or in the tail gate . just thinking!!!!!

fender flares are not different. neither are caddy tails. all these "different things" your trying to think of mini truckers have been doing since the mid 90s.

Your best bet is to go to NC.com and look at what they build. They have been doing IRS swaps with cantilever systems for a while. And the caddy tails EVERYONE uses.

 

Ok ,I just went on Nissancustoms.com and I found a nissan with caddy tails . and I found a few with IRS rears but ,like I said BUT!! NONE WITH FULL 240 SUSPENSION , now on to the good stuff, please if you don't have anything useful to say or you don't like what we are doing don't look !! This truck is being made to be a daily driver that if we want to go to a drift comp , time attack or what ever we want to we can. It is made to have fun ,not to win a beauty contest,( who knows maybe one ) . But this is an open forum , So what ever. To all that like it ,THANKS. It's very appreciated.

Thanks for the link but what I am looking for are the ones that people used on the s13's and 280's , I sawq them on one of the guy cars on here don't remember his name but he has a vert with them on it.

 

actually Im not envious. I am building the same exact type of rear end. The front suspension is not needed. I like his truck but like I told him, these things arent original. Neither will my truck be, besides motor choice.

Do what you want bro, so far looks good. But for fender flares I say grab some 4x4 guards and graft them to the bed. Now that my trans blew up, Ill be starting mine finally also, so I may have a few questions for ya.

 

4x4 flares arn't what I am looking for , not the right look and for what we are looking to do with it or be able to do with it the front suspension is better than the one on the truck, hince the use of 240 front suspension. I will help if I can . I don't know your fab skills , this is not the easiest thing we have done. So good luck.
