ok i just bought a 97 gst and was wondering if there are anyways to reinforce the engine to prevent damage like crank walk and stuff?

im not really familiar with eclipse so what exactly is a 6 bolt? and like the price and stuff like...i guess im just looking for information

 

He basically means swap in a 1st gen 6-bolt motor (you have a 7-bolt) Id say take your chances with what youve got.
