So...this forum is still deader than that horse we love to beat...
So I thought Id post about my latest DSM escapades..
A couple months ago I bought this 1995 GS for $250.
It had about 170k miles on it. P/O said it just "shuts off sometimes" . Turned out to be the ECU. Anyway I put a new power steering pump in it, window switch, door handle, taillight, and heater hose on it, and it was pretty much good to go.
So I registered it to DD for a bit. Then after a couple weeks a friend of a friend offered to trade me a 95 GST for it. His mechanic told him it needed a $1200 turbo R&R because it was mixing oil in the coolant. So I brought it back to my house to check it out...
I got the car home, and we realized the balance shaft belt had broken and was inside the front cover still....lol. The car had also been running on a stock ECU with RC550s for at least 3 months. The oil cooler was about to break in half, and the valve cover bolts and various others were just loose...
So I took care of all that crap...put a new a/c compressor in it...valve cover, tstat, new timing belt, etc. Now its running pretty good, and Im down to only 2 oil leaks! (dipstick seal and exhaust studs lol)
Car came with
16g downfiring conversion
injen intake
thermal 3" catback with test pipe
2.5' downpipe
hard UICP
1g BOV
550cc injectors
ARP headstuds
ARP manifold studs
Whine-boro w/rewire
???clutch but it grabs more than my 2100 and is stiff as fuck.
boost&egt gauges
oh yeah the paint is total garbage but the rest of the car is really nice. pic time
first mod...lol
I think thats it for now...I just put a boost controller on it and set it at 14psi for now....it needs an Evo ecu and some sort of intercooling upgrade before anything else.

Yeah I had another red 2gb converted 95 gst. I sold it early last year. I think it missed me cause the headgasket catastrophicly failed and killed the engine on the buyers drive home lol.

I want another toy! but def awd again. lol and if you didnt live in BUMFUKEGYPT id love to come fix your headlights I have a bunch of supplies in my garage thats left over from my work that i can use. Next time your close by hit me up it only takes 10min. Still same number!
