What AEM is this ?
You sure, cause I can explain to you how the computer interpolates the timing tables for your future reference.
Heck I'll even show you how to properly wire injectors.
And i'll do it all for free...cause I'm a nice guy.

everyone uses AEM widebands because they are cheap to buy. does the make them the best? not very bright logic.
no body uses motec cause they cost 5500 to get same features AEM gives you for 1500 new and 900 used. so does that mean motec is the worst because no body uses them?

Robert of Forced performance uses a motec on his personal car . he uses the m800 with ignition expander and data acquisition box. cost well over 10,000 for the setup. Do you think he uses it because he could have saved 8000 using made in china AEM crap? No, he uses it because when you want to develop the best turbos on the planet you need the best standalone available to do it. He logs like 20 extra sensors that most of us pions dont even dream about. up until last year AEM wasnt even capable of that.
my opinion that AEM is not best ECU to tune with comes from using a handful of different standalones on my own cars and becoming fully aware of its problems and short comings. and then from knowing good tuners who pretty much tune for a living and have tried many more standalones than myself and also concluded that AEM is far from the best ECU out there. I dont know anyone who has tried multiple ecus and picked AEM as being their favorite. I do know handful of good tuners that claim Motec, Vipec, Haltech, Fast, to name a few, are better choices than AEM.
If AEM is your favorite ECU then I still claim you havent tuned many others. Or you are just picking it based on afford ability. If that statement gets your panties in a wad so be it. Just my take on the ECU.

The ECU is only as good as the tuner. So that guy needs 20 extra sensors and $9000 more when AEM does the job just fine. I really want to know how he makes more power with it when AEM is fully adjustable in every aspect. I don't give a fuck what some other guy uses or how much he spent on it.
WAAAAIT, does he tune off EGT's and blow every single head gasket he puts on his car? or wait, does he sell people galant vr4 transmissions with the wrong gear ratio telling them its a 1g awd tranny, or sell people an evo 8 tranny and tell them its an evo 9, or build a transmission with a bunch of use parts you had laying around and charge him for new parts, or sell a poor lost kid a motor with low compression, or wait...wait.... does his injectors have a constant ground and get a positive signal from the ecu? HMM...no, maybe...maybe need help from the ecmlink forums on how to tune the easiest user-friendly system for these cars...and you can't even figure that out...who the fuck are you to say whats better....honestly....i think you're one of the most retarded people in the mitsubishi community. keep your opinions to yourself, because you don't even have the knowledge or the concept down of tuning a car....i wouldn't even let you touch an SAFC.
