Exclamation Help please!!! Montero sport 02"

I have a 02 montero sport, i was leaving my house and it was blowing out smoke "white" then after while it started smoking again "grayish" i checked the oil and it was low so i put in 2 quarts but it still had the smoking problem..can someone help me out & give me some idea on what it could be???

Headgasket, worn rings, valve seals. Perform a compression check (dry & wet) as well as a leakdown test.

well I checked the oil today and it was WAY over the line! my gf put 4 more quarts cause she thought it was low. imma do a oil change and see how its going and if its doing the same imma do the tests.

You said your blowing smoke, More detail please....During startup, After Sitting, At Redlights or just all the time.
