I have a 2001 Montero sport I am looking to sell..

Not a bad looking truck
Truck needs a thorough detailing
In all honesty if you are willing to throw 1k in the truck it will prob go another 100k miles..Seriously..

Heres what it needs done (due to miles)
Needs the following maintenance
trans flush/filter once in a while it slips outta gear when cold ($300 dealer)
needs rear and 4wd diff drained and new fluid($200 dealer)
tune up($250 dealer)
prob front brakes real soon($250)

You can easily do the work yourself and prob save 1/2 except maybe the tune up it requires removing the top of the motor..LOL mechanics dream lol


truck isnt beat on..It has served me well.

I may start doing the needed maint.Truck runs well.The things mentioned def need done .I would start with the trans/diffs..

Kbb lists it from $5900 to $7500

Im willing to take the lower price - $900

So it is $5k obo may consider a partial trade up or down for stang or equally tempting car..LMK what ya got..

Clean Fla title in hand...This is a great work truck,can tow a boat or trailer,Or hell throw in a few hundred bucks and drive it daily..
