Man just buy a full fmic and get it done right. You really can't go wrong with a IC from ebay and the power gains and difference in temps is priceless.

Yeah after seeing the picture....I would not think that would really be an "upgrade." I mean I guess if you already have it...

Then again would it be possible to fit it in the stock location? If you could do that and somehow duct it maybe.....

I dunno, I wouldnt waste the time on it. See if you can sell it to some honda kid. Then take that 40 bucks or whatever, and put that towards an ebay setup. You can get a cheap tube and fin core for 80 bucks. Then just get a universal piping kit with couplers and t-bolt clamps for another $90. BAM you're done with intercooler till ~400hp for under $200.

 

there was guy a few years back that logged some int temps on his 2g.
stock 2g saw 210
starion front 170
supra iv side mount 140
that cooler you have is mark iii cooler similar to starion.
the iv cooler works well and is easy to get on the car.

 

this thing is 2ft long so it will only fit as a front mount lol. and i pulled it off a mk3

 

if you cant afford to build/mod your car the correct way you should not be doing it at all. turn the boost back to stockkkkk and save your monies and get a half decent intercooler kit!!
