MS IS IN AND WIRED!!!! after several hours and tweaking the tune and then finding some unsecured grounds the car fired up. throttle needs to be adjusted and it's idling at 2800 rpm's tho..
and question. has anyone heard on the MS misreading vac pressure? so far on the live feed the map isn't reading. it's saying my min & max is at 100. i'm sure john can chime in on what it's doing. he's been teaching me about the reading all damn night but he'll be able to explain it better. we're both stumped.
the car is up and running tho!!! i'm happy to hear it again

straight from MS site:
If the MAP sensor doesn't appear to read correctly, you can check:
If the MAP sensor doesn't appear to read correctly, you can check:
- If your MAP sensor reads low and doesn't respond to vacuum or pressure, it is likely in backwards. Verify that it is in correctly. If it isn't, unsolder it, turn it around, and solder it back in. You will have to bend the pins the other way - be careful not to break them. You probably haven't damaged any components by installing the MAP sensor backwards.

would this possibly explain why its reading the 100?
and i'll get on that tomorrow. here's the thing tho. i'm gonna be to damn nervous tearing that shit apart lol. and i have no idea about soldering. did you get that message i sent you
just look up a pic of the ms1 version 2.2 board and match up the pic to your board, dont break any of the solders. as far as taking the cover off it is pretty simple. there are 4 screws on each end, take them out and the plates will slide off and then you can slide the board out.

well im headed to bed, tuning that thing until after midnight pretty much kicked my ass but at least we got it sorted out for the most part, lol. I started messing with the tune a little more so far and will tweek it again tomorrow morning (or i should say in a few hours lol)
I figured if i went over at 5 we would be done by 8 or 9 but DAMN i had no idea we would run into some of the shit that we did. But then again, if it were that easy then it wouldnt be fun.

damn right lol but we skipped the golden rule. 90% of wiring issues are due to a poor ground lol
and ya, i'll check some things out tomorrow and try to see whats up
