Goal of 450-500 hp, need your opinion
I'm an "informed shopper". The motor will have new internals. I told myself I'd take my time but I feel like I'm just dropping money left and right now to get everything I want. I need to slow down, lol. I decided to build the motor last for my project. This gives me plenty of time to research and do it right.
its def easier to setup the turbo kit, use low boost and adjust to the car then build the motor and run high boost when both your driving skill and wallet are ready.

its far more productive to know your budget and design a setup around that.
these cars are a ball when they run. and no fun at all when they are broken. so the most important rule is to mod within your budget and keep a running car. a 16g car that runs 50 weeks out of the year is a million times more fun than a 500hp dyno queen that runs two weeks out of the year. even a reliable 16g setup cost good money to setup.

lets not jack this thread.
Back on topic, I agree with Lancerman, first decide on a budget then go from there. You could achieve those goals with very simple and reliable setups. If you want any advise we are here to share it with you it is up to you if you want to use it or not. All we do is try to help everyone as much as possible and point them in the right direction.

lolI have owned some pretty fast DSMs and EVOs in my time that were built by AMS, Devo Tuning, or myself... so I know the difference between a dyno queen and a car the get's down!
Last time I visited Tampa I had the privelage to ride in a few built FBI Evos and they got down... so I don't know how you can call them "dyno queens" when every racing video I see from Grabalane has one of the FBI cars in it busting some ass!
