Finally got one and am happy to have it. Plans are a 2.4 swap and keeping it auto. Here are some pics. Worst part is that about 3 hours after i drove it home some ass fuck drove into my drivers side door and just left. so i have a fresh elbow size dent. Also doing some custom work for future gauges. I know 90% of you guys will say just get a 4g63 blah blah blah.... i prefer the 2.4 bottom end on a 2.0 head. Cheaper and same power. Now AWD don't get me wrong i would love to, but since it is FWD i am just going to do that.









I'm working on making a custom plate for up to 6 gauges. If this works out well then i will be mass producing them for the DSM community. If anybody needs any other kind of work done to hold gauges in stock location let me know.

+1, what gauges are you going to run? with out a turbo you dont need boost of course, dont really need air/fuel.
i am just curious, i would like to see how you fab it up though and might be looking you up soon if it comes out nice.

 

voltometer, water temp, oil temp, oil pressure...

I cant think of any more excluding boost/vac, and a/f....maybe hes gunna boost it...

yeah i am going to boost the 420 doing a 2.4 bottom end swap and srt-4 internals. The cluster/pod can hold 4,5, or 6 gauges at a time the spacing will be different. I have the basic shape ready i just need to touch up on the fine stuff. Should be done by friday

They will be facing up left or straight out. I think it will be ok. Looks nice
