megan racing oil catch can install???

Default megan racing oil catch can install???

K guys I have been reading tons of threads still dont know the right way to hook up this megan racing oil catch can any help? link below of oil catch can.

Depends on how you are using it. Are you attempting to install this between the IM and the VC? If so install it on the line from your PCV on the back of the VC.

confused^, right now i have a breather filter on the pcv and on the backside of the valve cover the line is going in to IM.. How would i install that Megan racing oil catch can?

Ok, where are you attempting to prevent oil transfer? Typically people install it between the PCV and the IM so that oil is not introduced into the intake.

Breather filters should not be on the PCV valve; they are usually installed on the vent side. The PCV line is routed to the IM so that the blowby is burned.

from what i see you have two inlets on the catch can so mount the catch can, then run both the pcv valve and the other nipple on the valve cover to the catch can....

make sure you block off the hole on the intake manifold where the pvc was connected to.

theres only two places on the stock valve cover you can connect the catch can 2, so connect both of them.

Negative.

If the catch can he bought was vented then he would run it this way. The can he linked to is not a vented one and would not serve any purpose if he hooked both lines off of the VC to it.

That particular model is meant to be inline between the VC and intake pipe, or VC and IM.

k well there's 3 nipples on the catch can 2 at the top and 1 at the bottom. say those 2 nipples on top go between the IM and VC what would that 3 nipple at the bottom of catch can serve?
