brakes???

Default brakes???

so all of a sudden when im slowing down to stop and start to applie the brake i herre a " CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK" from the rear driver side it only makes the sound when the brakes are applied, i reached in and felt arount but every thing feels tight. its a slow clicking to, meaning if im at coast at 40mph or 5mph the clicking is the same, no faster no slower... any body had this problem..... i live in a apt so i cant just tear the car apart to look at it.... 95 gst

I would check the lug nuts on the wheels. Had that problem one time, if its not that, check control arm bushings or things of that matter in the rear end.

My friend had that problem in his civic, I'll ask him what his problem was, might not be the same but ill ask him

My friend said his was that his self adjuster or whatever for his rear brakes were loose, but he has drums for rear brakes.

But id check your lugs nuts to, but you should hear that contantly tho and not just while slowin down, but I'm guilty of leaving mine loose to

your ebrake is set up like a drum brake. make sure your adjuster for that isn't screwed up. they could be rubbing.

Yeah, but if it is the adjuster that's somethin you can easily get at a junkyard pretty cheap

my ebrake is messed up i can pull the lever all the way up with no pressure, i looked at the adj nut in the center console and one side is pulled forward and the other is pulled back,, make sense?

now lift up the back of the car and pull your rotors off and your ebrake assembly will look just like a drum brake without a wheel cylinder. to me it sounds like one side is not retracting completely like if a spring is broken or something
