Default Please help

Ok guys so here is my situation i am in the prosses of trading my 1990 mustang GT for 97blackwidow's 1997 spyder gst. I have fallin in love with this car and really want to take it off of his hands. The only problem is i have to put the motor and trans in the car (he has both at his place), so my question to everyone here in Mitsubishi Tech is can someone help me out please. I have heard amazing storys bout everyone helping eachother out just to see another dsm running. So if someone would be willing to help me out i would greately appreciate it.
Thanks everyone who reads this.

Im guessing u read my thread...or we ironically word sentences exactly alike...pm me...if u can get the parts to waters ave off dale mabry....A guy did a swap frm a civic for mi. 260 for a single cam motor + install....to just drop in motor and tranny cant be that expensive...he is building a 6bolt dsm right now...i can give him a call just let mi kno if ur serious. i would guess a similar price seeing as hes putting in tranny nd motor..

Ok see if it was a guarantee that i was walking away with this car i would pay someone to put it in but to be honest i have no clue how the car is going to ride or anything? I have bought a new oil pan, alt, and head bolts for this car and its not even mine yet. I dont mean to sound cheap or anything but i was lookin for a few hours of someones time just to help me out.

I think a motor swap is a little more than a favor lol. Get yourself a service manual and start reading. Good luck

it is really not hard at all. if you can just borrow a hoist and chain its easy as pie. i did my last one by myself, the important thing is to have the motor angles up and trans down just right and it should go in with ease.

Hey where you located? I get home from work in two weeks. Don't know when you're planning on doing this engine install but I'd be more than happy to help a new DSMer out. I have done the install plenty of times if you want the help. Let me know. Really not a lot goes into it at all as long as you know what ur doing.
