jb weld...thats that shyt but it seeps through like a bitch...unless u wait forever after u mix it b4 u start to use it...possible some got in there...

 

yeah JB weld is the shit...but like i explained to pure_power...i have read on dsmtuners and few other places....that is the needle on a wastegate snaps off and u jbweld it back on...u can have a problem...if for instance some seeps inside it could cause a blockage....or the wastegate could stay open...and u could end up overboosting....and that is a big no no

 

his problem sounds like boost leaks or fouled spark plugs. just so you know, I put some brand new plugs in my car to solve this problem last week and they are already fouled out (bad maf wiring leading to rich condition). so, "basically" brand new isnt brand new...

 

mine does the same but at 20 lbs. i can't even think about WOT. everyone always told me it was boost cut/fuel cut because i'm not tuned or anything on a 16g

 

i had the problem...had new plugs put in for an easy + cheap fix...still runs fine, only now that i hold boost, i am blowing up mani-turbo gasket ervery other month. nO TUNES here either but im also sure yu have more than just a 16g...and ur converting to eclipse...y didnt i kno this. what kind ov talon bodyparts do u have.....

 

only the sideskirts which i'm keeping. i love those things. other than my 16g i have a fmic, 3" exhaust and hks ssqv.

 

well im not keeping my turbo long this week im putting a different one on a 20g from a 16g, and my 20g has a good wastegate actuator on it im getting it rebuilt from a guy on dsmtuners

not if he has an AWD car...the exhaust for FWD and AWD are completely different...you would have to cut and weld...no way it will bolt right up
