lmfao. nah the first time, the idiot drove the car without any oil in it so thats why it blew up the first time. i picked it up, brought it to the gas station and looked under the hood, and noticed it was completely dry of oil. so i was like well, good thing i noticed that. apparently i was too late. it blew up that day. other then the engine, its tip top shape man. eh. i have money, but i want to use it wisely. i mean its not going to be like omg awesome, the next car will be. im saving up for a supra and that car will be our project. to tell you details, this car im just looking to get the best bang for the buck. so ive researched also. what im thinking is just buy some forged pistons, figure out the running lean problem, and buy a 50-75 shot wet nitrous kit and from there i think i'll be happy and only use it when i need it. its not a dangerous move, and after all, the GS is my work everyday drive, but if some loser pulls up next to me and has an awesome looking car and has nothing under the hood ( which i hate losers like that) ill race him. but moreover it really is just the daily driver with just a lil umph i want in it. but your right, im going to skip the idea of swapping engines and all that. if you saw the car under it, and under the hood and interior, you'd realize its a keeper. just gotta figure out this engine problem. i just bought a BRANDDD new engine instead of a refurbished one just so i dont have to deal with the whole "keep buying new refurbished engine" idea. plus im going to put that wet kit on. so ya.

If I owned a GS, I would put 11:5 - 12.0 compression pistons in it. Then I would spray a 150 shot using a progressive direct port kit. That is the best you're going to do without a turbo.
oh ya, for sure a builder error man. theres noo freaking way a new engine would blow withing a week and a half by my fault. i was still breaking it in. i didnt even do anything crazy with it yet lol. its all stock crap so far. so i was like wtf, fix it for free a hole. and he is.

well. lol. knowing i only drove it for a total of a month cuz the repair guy is an idiot. i only have two outside pictures of it like the two listed, and a couple pictures of the engine that blew up. i can put those up if you want me to ha.

my cell inside screen broke, so i cant take pictures of it. if you can picture it i guess. picture the inside as brand new leather everything, new carpet, and head lining. just looks new man thats all. the only thing different is i took the driver seat out and replaced it witha silver Netami Renegade racing seat. put on a cold air intake, fiber glassed a box and within that one and a half week period the engine blew up. i didnt get a chance to install the passenger racing seat and the amp yet.

no at all. altho the back wiper blade i need to replace. thats it i guess lol. its a brand new paint job so everythings tip top shape. besides a retarded mechanic lol.

1. you got ripped off because i bought a 98 2 years ago for 3000 and it needed a radio and headliner so 9000 is pretty high.

2. it really would be better to get a gst/gsx because there is more of an aftermarket for them

oh ya? lmfao. you would think so. i think i came out pretty good for it. either way, ripped off or not, i think i heard it all? soo umm. telling me i got ripped off doesnt help the problem lol. i asked for advice on THIS car. not a gsx, or another. lol so really, telling me things i already heard doesnt help. please read before criticizing. im looking for just a couple things to do to it, its still going to be an everyday driver. not a grand prix ricer alright? lol. just simple things.

keep it stock. it's more reliable that way. i beat the living shit out of my old one and never had any problems. you'll enjoy the gas saver when you build your supra

well im pretty set on the idea of just a 50 shot wet nitrous here and there. thats good enough for me and isnt too much to worry about.

the only thing im worried about is trying to figure out why it keeps exploding pistons, randomly. and if it is because its lean, figure out how to fix it. thats what the post is about.

check your o2 sensor. if that's sending a bad signal then it can throw off your mixture. there's a way to clean them so you can prolong they're life. i just forgot what it is.
