Correct that would be a 2.4l stroker engine. Nasty combo but can be a pain in the a$$ to time correctly.

If your interested in a stroker, you would be better off to use the 4g64 crank in your existing 2.0l block. You will then need to order pistons for a 2.3l stroker and get to work. There really doesn't seem to be a noticable difference between the 2.3l and 2.4. The 2.3 is just less headachs and goes together like a normal 2.0l

correction... the 2.4block with a 2.3 head isnt a stroker motor... just because your changing the head your not changing the stroke... also its not hard to time ive done it on my car and had no problems... the hardest part is plugging the 5unused oil holes on the block... many people use the soda can and jb weld but its not right you need to tap them and have a pipe fitting insterted to block the holes... another thing is wiring for the cas... need any more help of any info let me know ill help out... i had no problems dd my car and making 575 on a crap as turbo...

what rods do you use for a 2.4L or 2.3L stroker? ive been told 2.0L block, 2.4L crank, 2.3L pistons and 2.4L rods?

correction... there is no such thing as a 2.3 head. A 2.3l is manufactured by using the crank from the 2.4l. Another thing, no one just puts a 2.0l head on the 2.4l block. The pistons do need to be upgraded for a boosted application and the timing can be a headach, obviously not for people that do it on a regular. See the deck hight of the 2.4l block is higher than the 2.0l block in which you need to compensate for when usingit with the 2.0l head. If you have any questions feel free to pm me.

All the rods are the same length. Just need to order a set of rods for a 2.0l turbo. It fits all applications depending on yr 4g63. Obviously you wouldn't order 6-bolt rods for a 7-bolt. The cranks are enterchangable between blocks and so are the rods. The pistons are different and need to be ordered according to the stroke of the engine you are building.
