Do it yourself if you can, if not; Valve seals are around $25; But 5 hours of labor is a bit steep. I thin you can find someone to do it for around $350 if you look enough. Most mechanics go by the "big book of labor." More often than not, This book is quite wrong; after all, it is just a guide. A skilled mechanic can usually do a VS job in about 3 hours or so.

I would worry more about your rings in this situation. Does the smoking decrease as the engine warms up? Have you conducted a leak down or compression test?

no to all the questions, the smoke isnt as bad when idling, but when u rev up the engine or take the car for a spin the results are that video i uploaded, took it to the northgate mechanic by waters and florida and they told me that when u dont move the car for a while the valve sea;s harden and then they brake or some like that, then they told me how much it would be to get em fix, and that meanwhile the car was gonna run fine and all just to check the oil every once in a while, then on the recipt it says "NEED VALVE SPRING OR SEAL" i think i'm gonna run the compression test, to be honest i dont know much about the engine, so does anyone know any good cheap mechanic around town?? been offered and recomended to buy a new head, would that fix my problems?

Are you going to spend $1500 to find out that the head is NOT your problem?

Correctly Diagnose your problem first (or get it diagnosed). Just throwing parts at it is going to cost you extra time and money.
