Default need help bad!!!!!!!!!!!

ok a buddy of mine has a 2001 mitsubishi galant that he will sell me for cheap if i can fix it...ok heres what happened

the girl who owned it when it broke(go figure a girl) was driving down the road and ther timing belt snapped. they replaced the timing belt but never re-timed it and when they went to crank it over it broke the timing sensor....ok...they fixed the timing sensor and timed it...now when they crank it over its not getting any spark....

any suggestions on what could be the issue and how to fix it???? please its much appreciated

Sounds like there is still a sensor or something broke.

Sounds to me like the crank angle sensing blade is out of timing. Is this a 4cyl or 6cyl? Aside from the spark issue it's almost a guarantee that the car has bent valves from the timing belt breaking fyi.
