99 Gst Problems!!!! Help
Hey peeps, im new to the mitsu world
Ill hopfully be takeing home a 99 GST (auto) on tuesday. cant get financed untill after the holiday.
Im getting it for way under book value.

New head and gaskets
ebay 2.5' hard pipes with the factory turbo and smic
My ? is THIS
I had a vac leak and replaced all the vac lines and cuplers. car wouldnt go past 5lbs (this was before i fixed the vac leaks)
Now the car gets up to 10lbs of boost and stutters real bad and wont boost anymore. my boost gauge at idle reads -10 if i rev it to 3000 and get off the gas, it will read - 15 to -20 and hold it. this seems kinda low.
How do i fix the stutter problem, i will be changeing the plugs and wires cause i have a light miss fire.
If this helps other mods are apexi turbo back.

ya im going to change out hte plugs and wires on tuesday once the bank stuff is done, iv been approved i jsut have to show them proof of income thats all.
I mite still have a minor leak from the pcv valve, i think it is. the dip shit that was working on it for my uncle crossed threaded it in. im hoping i can save it and the valve cover. i cant think of anything else. iv drained the gas tank and had all the crap sucked out of it. and filled it with a injector cleaner and 93 oct. (it idle so much better after this)
is there any known problems with the factory wastegate?

Boost leak test your car. Sounds like you have a leak and it's causing you to run so rich under boost that your car shutters.
Your turbo pulls in air (which is metered before the turbo). Fuel is being supplied for the air that is supposed to be going into the engine - instead the air leaks into the atmosphere, causing a rich condition. If you push it hard enough you will hit fuel cut.
