i have a 90 laser turbo and i thought the turbo went out a while back when it started burning lots of oil (0 vissiblity behind me for miles) so i got a new turbo and put it in and the same exact problem happens. i know the old turbo was bad by the time i took it out because the intake side turbine wiggles like crazy. the new turbo was brand new. after the problem happened again i took the intake hose off to make sure the new turbo still had bearings and there was alot of oil inside of the intake side of the turbo. only burns oil bad at higher boost.
