I have one word for you. LAWYER. Mention that word after you politely ask them to fix your car, free of charge. If that doesnt work, tell them your lawyer is calling first thing in the morning. Watch how fast they try to negiotiate with you.

well of course. I was just stating the cam sensor wasn't covered because it was modded. Mitsu is so dumb,just this morning i heard a commercial on the radio talking about the latest Evo. Do you want a tuner car? Do you want to tune and Mod your car? come to tampa Mitsu and buy the brand new EVO. but ya i understand your issue here. Sometimes you just need to sit and watch them like a hawk.

well what part of the harness got melted and how bad is it? if its just a few wires you can solder in new wires or have someone else solder in new wires.

You need to speak to the general manager or someone high up (use the lawer card if you must). They can not deny service for something that they fucked up, Not only is it unethical it’s illegal. The burnt engine harness wasn’t caused by the aftermarket parts it was cause by there shoddy workmanship.

Parts failing while you use the car would be a warranty issue. Parts failing because a mechanic made a mistake is not a warranty issue. They definitely owe you a wire harness free of charge. your after market mods did not cause your harness to fry. cut and dry case. GET A LAWYER!

i've been on the phone with the service manager no luck there. just got off the phone with the general manager of the dealer told him what had happened . he is going to talk to the service departmemt and call me back . next step is trying to get the owner of the dealer on the phone .if the tech that was working on my car would just be honest they would fix it for free .i asked him if he had the battery disconnected . he stated no he did not and he may also had the ignition turned on .it just ironic that the melting starts at the wires that come out of the cam sensor .

just talked to the GM at the dealer he told me never to bring my car back to them .and they are not fixing shit .
