Looking for a place in the Tampa/St.Pete/Surrounding Area for a Tune
OP, look into DSMLINK or Eprom chip tuning .
I think Keydiver is still around if you just want to get a base chip burned
or you can burn your own chips if you get the program and chip burner and rewriteable chips that you need... Its funner diong it yourself,
but you havent really stated any goals for your car.
If your just running a stock turbo at under 20psi boost levels then keep the safc. You just wont get the 2step or NLTS or other handy options.

basically my goal with this car is about 300-350awhp. It needs to be a street driven car.
i'm more into auto-x than straight drag racing. i got plans for the suspension. i just need to know where to start with the engine.
i own a Mazda Protege5, which is about 80% set-up for auto-x. No way in hell will it ever be a track star but it handles quite.

You dont really need a lot of power in autocross.
Just set up a nice suspension and nice rim and tire combo and pull some weight and it'll be decent for that...
