Some poor mustang got his feelings hurt through getting shitted on by an Evo he taunted to race in which case currently needs a rebuild.

Dsms are just old, when maintained and built right they dont break down like everyone says.
Evos will start destroying parts when pushed hard too, they arent exempt just because there newer. AWD and hard launching with a lot of power = broken parts.
My point was, buy a Evo and spend over 20k then drop X amount into mods to get x amount of power/speed.
Or buy a Dsm for less than 3 grand and you have at least a 17 thousand dollar difference in that scenerio just right there just in cost differences. Someone should have a lot more money to play with to build whatever they want for the dsm in that case.
Someone who knows what there doing can fix and make a awd dsm go high 11s for under 5 grand on stock block and only a 14b or 16g for crying out loud.
Now, dont get me wrong, Evos are Evos and newer and nicer etc.
Btw, the dsm bottom end has proven itself worthy of handling well over 500awhp. Id say you could get 400-450awhp out of it reliably with a good tune and not have to sweat at night. YMMV
But you know all this, youve owned 11 more DSMs than I have...

Point taken.I know what the motors can take its just the trannies have been weaker than the evo counterparts.I have less invested in my car than a 35r costs new so i guess i'm cheap.....

no i told them to leave me there. they offered to take me home but i was waiting for the tow truck. actually almost everyone of those mustangs and gto's asked if i needed help. all pretty cool. i told them not to worry about it. luckily i broke down in the subdivision where the lights were beaming down on me.
but then later a cop pulled and started harrasing me saying he had me on tape racing and shit.i pretty much told him he's full of shit and that ive been broke down here for like over an hour. he shut up and elft after he saw my marine corps tag too. ::shrugs::
and yes i went out with a "BANG" but eghh it whatever. You gotta pay to play. i'll be out next week again bigger and better. stock ecu ftl

Yeah I didnt see the race because we left because we thought that the gto and cobra were running from cops or something since they were hauling ass back so we dipped out. Then we got back and someone said the evo broke. And im like umm you guys left him out their in the middle of nowhere with no lights?
